Read the appendix to Ray Blanchard's (1989) paper "The concept of autogynephilia and the typology of male gender dysphoria." For trasgendered persons, it's an opportunity to take the actual autogynephilia surveys used in the research that began a way-too-long controversy.

Note from GenderPsychology.org: This appendix is somewhat altered. In Ray Blanchard's original appendix, scoring information is provided beside the questions themselves. I am creating an additional "scoring" section so readers can fill in the 'tests' themselves for fun. To facilitate this, I added letters for you to indicate your response. (i.e, choice "a", "b", ...). You might try taking these 'tests' regardless of if you are a MtF transsexual. For example, a FtM transsexual might reverse the ideas of man and woman around. Typically gendered readers can also try. For example, a women could answer about her feeling about her own body rather than about a pictured body. I am curious to hear feedback for how you interpret Blanchard's questionaires.
Core Autogynephilia Scale: Give yourself one point for each "yes" to all 8 items except 7. For item 7, give yourself one and only one additinal point if you chose answer a, b, or c. To help you interpret your score, recall from the results section that "homosexual" transsexuals typically scored between 2 and 3 while "nonhomosexual" transsexuals typically scored about 5.
Autogynephilic Interpersonal Fantasy Scale: Give yourself one point for each "yes" to the first 3 items. For item 12, give yourself one and only one additinal point if you chose answer a or b. To help you interpret your score, recall from the results section that "bisexual" transsexuals typically scored between 3 and 4 while "other" transsexuals typically scored between 1 and 2.
Alloeroticism Scale: Start yourself with 3 points. Subtract 1 point if your answer to 13 was c. Subtract a point if your answe ro 14 was d. Subtract 1 point if your answer to 15 was c. To help you interpret your score, recall from the results section that "Analloerotic" transsexuals typically scored about 1 while "nonhomosexual" transsexuals typically scored between 2 and 3.
